“Lost”

My heart tell me what my brain cannot comprehend. I fall deep into your eyes. I am lost. A mixture of loving and vile emotions. I am forgiving of your past but your future looms like a starless night. I cling to your heart. I must not give up. I am lost. It has always been about what will happen. Do I forget what is happening? I am lost. I must not forget. I must remember. Live in the present, I whisper to myself. But I am lost. Lost in feeling. Whatever happens I know what we had. It was beautiful and it will never die. Lost in the memories of yesterday. I am lost. 

“Transparent”

Her skin was transparent 

And she kept all her secrets safe

Locked away in her heart

She knew that if she let them out

The world would change

For her at least

She was quiet and calm

Kept her heart away

From those who would break it

She knew that it was fragile

Her heart because of what it held

Love and fear intertwining  

She kept her love

Far away from the world

And became jaded
