Forgetting the importance of the night
  Remembrance, reflection, relating
  Ridiculous, ranting, raving
There is a word that people use
  On this night - resolution
I think that I am missing something
Forgetting the importance of the word
  Relevant, repetitious, resolutions
Maybe I am not the one missing it
Forget empty promises & live life

A new year means new joys.
Another 365 days to enjoy your life.
A new year for new idea,
  new mistakes and new lessons learned.

Remember the lessons, but 

  forget the mistakes.
Every day is precious and this
  is worth thinking about regularly.
Contemplate life and all the wonderful
  things that you can do with it.
Make sure that the people you love
  know it.
Show your joy to the world,
  and aways smile.
