“Like water”

Your eyes like water

      Refresh my soul

           I dive in

               I let go

I swim in the deep pools

       As my body dances in the waves

But it’s your eyes

       That hold me still

            I let myself free

                 I let myself go

My body responds in time

        As I swim in the deep pools

“Darkness”

Deep down 

the darkness goes

Midnight black 

Below everything 

beautiful and bright

It ebbs and flows

Entering my soul

I turn towards you

an empty hand

I reach and reach

then I just fall

I scratch at the walls

in the never-ending 

tumble head-over-feet

“Sun”

I turn my face towards you, my sun

My glorious light burning bright

I feel your warmth radiant throughout my body

It touches my soul and causes it to melt

You burn so pure and so very bright

I sometimes get lost in the glow

But I dance and I celebrate inside of your warmth

It brings me the simplest of joys
